| I bought Podge in February of 2007 through word of mouth. That first year was an interesting one for us as we finished last, or close to it, nearly every time out. The dressage was steady and obedient but too much on the forehand and we had some water issues on XC. However, we persevered and have finished up in the placings nearly every outing in 2008 including a 3rd place at our first Preliminary on a XC course that wiped out a big part of the division. Personality-wise, he's a pretty serious guy but he's starting to come out of his shell and show his playful, attention-grabbing side. He has plenty of athletic ability and has become a cross country machine so I look forward to an upper-level future with him. |
