"I have been with Amanda for almost 3 years now and if it was not for her, I would still be battling with my now 4 year old rescued draft cross. She helped me break my horse and get her started and we have been with her ever since. Amanda just showed Georgia in a local show and they did great! Whether you are looking to be in the show ring or just needing someone to help in the training process, I would highly recommend Amanda." -Jennifer DeMaro & Georgia Bellbrook, OH
Amanda is a very gifted trainer with the unique ability to clearly communicate both problems and solutions to her students. A talented rider, Amanda patiently guides her horses through new experiences and quietly encourages them to reach higher levels of performance. Most importantly, she has been a sensitive instructor for me and my horse, willing to invest time and energy to help us reach our full potential. -Juli Piovesan & Ames Jamestown, OH
I began working with Amanda when Billy and I were eventing at novice level. We moved up quickly to training level and have our sights set on preliminary level. Her excellent horsemanship skills, knowledge, and extraordinary teaching ability have enabled Billy and me to dream bigger dreams than we ever anticipated and to be successful at every level! I work with her on all three phases of eventing - dressage, stadium jumping, and cross country - and she is a excellent trainer of every discipline. I have upmost faith and trust in Amanda and look forward to future successes with her." -Marsha Roush & Billy Centerville, OH
Amanda is a true professional both in her approach to horses and clients. I feel confident sending our young, unbroken prospects to Amanda because I know she puts the well being and care of her horses above all else. Having known Amanda for over 15 years, I can attest to her calm, steady approach to life and horses. She is a person most worthy of trust and highly ethical. I recommend Amanda to fellow horsemen at every opportunity. -Lara Schoettmer, Knightsridge Farm La Grange, KY
I first met Amanda and her horse Flint when we boarded at the same facility, she a young lady of 13 or 14 and I, middle aged and with my first horse in many, many years. As a young lady Amanda impressed me with her ability and determination towards her riding; kindness and care of her horse, Flint. We both moved on but a few years later our paths crossed again at another stable. Amanda still had Flint as well as another horse, Jack. It was here that I really got to know Amanda and had the opportunity to learn from her, hit the trails with her, go to show with her, all great memories. She built my confidence as a rider and had me doing things I had never dreamed of! When I moved form the area in 2000 it was Amanda who I turned to, to help sell my horse. Her abilities as a horsewoman have always impressed me, but her honesty, integrity and ethics as a person impress me even more. It will be Amanda who I turn to if I am ever again in the market for a horse! I wish her much deserved success. Andrea Young San Diego, CA
"Breathless and Dayna had a wonderful experience at Pony Club camp. Breathless got to school some cross country jumps and go trail riding. She did great. She received lots of compliments from the instructors and the other parents. Dayna also rode with kids at her level (D-3) all week and was able to keep up. She was working on different issues with her horse, but all the kids work on different issues anyway. Our club goes to Kentucky Horse Park for a week in July. Dayna and Breathless should have a great experience then as well." -Belinda & Dayna Clark, owners of Breathless Columbus, OH
"Hi Amanda, Just wanted to let you know that Paloma was awesome over the weekend. Taylor did a little clinic with Danny Warrington. She and Taylor were a great team. They had a dressage lesson on Sat. She was perfect! They did a little grid work on Sunday with the same result. Everyone really loved her. Taylor is so happy and I think Paloma is as well. She is adapting well and is a little crabby in her stall but I think she will work through that. She has had lots of treats and Taylor is just crazy about her. Thanks again for everything and we will check in once and a while and let you know how we are doing." -Laura & Taylor Reynolds, new owners of Paloma Bloomington, IL
Radar is doing great. He is such an awesome horse. I just love his personality. He is such a sweetheart! My trainer rode him at the Otter Creek Horse Trials this spring in the Novice division. It went pretty well. It was so fun to watch him go! I have been doing some schoolingshows with him and it has been pretty fun. The last schooling I went to I got a 29.5 on my dressage test! I was pretty excited. - Erica Bauer, owner of Radical Attraction ("Radar") Lindstrom, MN |
"Dear Amanda, Dessa is doing great! She and I started jumping on Wednesday. I know she could do it before, but it took me a while to catch up. We only did 18" but it was so cool. Hopefully next spring we can do some cross country. I am taking her to her second dressage show on October 31st. We are going to do training level one. She is really settled in and I am so happy to have her. We go on big trail rides in the mountains and she has totally mastered hills. She is a little pushy with the other horses but she is really sweet to me. Anyways, I wanted you to know she is doing well. I will have to send you a picture from her next show." -Amie Collins, owner of Dessa Morgantown, WV
Hi Amanda- Quick update on Faith. She's doing great!! Had her first mini-event this weekend. She schooled Beg. Novice and some Novice jumps also and never looked at or refused any, except for the ditch. She thinks it's the black hole , she leaps over it like it's 50ft. long. It's sort of funny. Anyways she placed second out of seven in Baby Beg. Novice. We will move her up to Beg. novice next show. Sally and Melanie Sudetic, owners of Faith Brecksville, OH
