Ocean City ("Ocean")

2009 TB mare

I bought Ocean in the spring of 2016. She had a little bit of retraining off-the-track but no competition experience yet. She is extremely talented and I expect great things of her.
In the barn, she is a one-person kind of personality. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body but she won't cuddle up to you either. It took me quite a while to become her person but I feel she'll work extremely hard for me now that I've gained that trust.

True Star ("Tess")

2012 WB/TB mare

Quite possibly the barn favorite, Tess is my first homebred out of Piccolo's Dance and sired by Salute the Truth. Tess was born one week after my son, Ian, and has grown up being doted on (and has been known to wear a tiara a time or two!) That hasn't diminished her work ethic though. 2018 brings an exciting year for Tess as she's really become a mature horse and is impressing everyone.
